• Profile Data: Avatars, biographies, professional titles, and external links you choose to add to your public creator profile.
• User-Generated Content: Text, images, articles (Mags), reviews, community threads, direct messages, and comments you submit to the platform.
• Engagement & Networking Data: Your likes, bookmarks, connection requests, follower relationships, film ratings, and event RSVPs.
• Technical & Usage Data: Basic analytics regarding how you interact with the platform, device type, and broad location data to help us optimize our streaming and platform performance.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data powers the platform. We use it to verify your identity, render your public profile, calculate "Taste Matches" with other creators, route direct messages, and process your official film credit claims. We also use your email address to deliver critical platform notifications (like connection requests, moderation alerts, or event confirmations) and, if you opted in, studio newsletters.

3. Public vs. Private Information

Public Information: Your handle, display name, avatar, bio, published Mags, community threads, film reviews, and follower/following lists are visible to the public or other verified members of the community.

Private Information: Your email address, phone number, saved bookmarks, account settings, and direct messages are private. Note: Direct messages and private drafts may be accessed by 3R Studios administrators solely for the purpose of investigating user reports of harassment or violations of our Terms of Service.

4. Data Security & Storage

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers. User records, media uploads, and platform data are stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure provided by Google Firebase (Firestore Database and Cloud Storage). While we implement strict security measures, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

5. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party services to operate the platform, including Vercel (Hosting & Analytics), Google Firebase (Authentication & Database), and Resend (Email Delivery). These providers only process the data necessary to perform their specific functions and are strictly bound by their own data privacy agreements.

6. Moderation & Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If your account is reported or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, we may retain certain identifiers (like your email or IP address) to prevent circumvention of bans. Content you have published (like reviews or comments) may remain on the platform even if you delete your account, unless explicitly requested for removal.

7. Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information at any time. You can edit your public profile and communication preferences directly through your Account Settings. If you wish to request a complete deletion of your account and associated data, please contact our team.
